$13.00 buys you a kid size portion of 1 piece of Haddock and a handful of fries. Good thing fries are unlimited or you would starve to death! On a positive note the decaffeinated coffee was one of the best I've ever had.
My husband and I wanted a nice fish and chip dinner so we went to Joey's and for $32.00 we got more fries then fish very sad looking dish. We had gone there before but has been quite some time ago and the fish portions we much larger then. We will not return especially when for the same amount of money we can get a platter to share with two large pcs of haddock 3 nice size deep fried shrimp 3 large scallops fries and coleslaw from another restaurant in Brantford. Excellent and fun place to be and eat. Great price, food and welcoming environment with amazing staff. If your a regular they know your order and name! Great all around and excellent business!
I had incredible fish tacos when I was in. The service was super quick and really friendly, I was impressed. The environment is casual, but not scummy. The restraunt felt clean and well kept. I would definitely come again.
Havent been to Joeys in many years but used to come here once a month. We were looking forward to a good fish dinner like we used to get here. We were seated quickly but waited a very long time for our food. Previous reviews say it was all chips and no fish, we barely got either. Fish was thin and all batter, we didnt even get enough chips to cover the bottom of the plate. And when the food finally arrived, we had to raid other tables for cutlery and condiments because no one came back to see if we had what we needed. Sadly disappointed at how badly the place has gone downhill. We would give no stars if it was possible. We will never go back there again.
