We went to frosty fest this year and it was great... In the mall they had bouncy castles, and kids play areas which the kids had a blast at. It was all free and despite the lineups I was thrilled about. My kids had a great time. As for the mall in question if you can call it that. It was severely outdated and had a weird smell to it. I didn't even see any shops in all honesty besides a few businesses. Not sure why it's still in existence. Would still go back for frosty fest though.
Ive been assisted by the small businrss development service and found the people there just great as well O love to attend Tues eve events with freedom house beautiful music and something new every week.
This place is awesome.. It use to have a store that now moved across town. But sold alot of odd things ya wouldn't see in other stores. Like clothes , bongs, knives, blankets that say a bunch of different logos on them. Now it has a school for adults. A dollar store . Coffees shop.
Market Square mall is essentially empty, and the only place worth visiting in there is Williams. All the other stores in there have closed, and what is left is an office for the GEDSB and GEDSB's Career Link. There is nothing worthwhile to do in there. Having said that, it is a nice building in and of itself, and I have fond memories there from when I was younger. There used to be some cool stores in there, and the fountains are always a plus for a mall. Also, the glass elevator is something fairly unique for Brantford, as far as I can tell. Having said that, there is almost no reason you would go there, unless you are looking for a shelter from the weather.
