Used this contractor for various electrical and plumbing repairs. Most recently had long drain line, which went through foundation wall out to septic connection, replaced. Plumber was knowledgeable, polite and completed the work in a timely manner. Pipe work was installed neatly and work area was free of any debris when they were finished. Would definately use again.
Very disappointed with the service. called them for help & advice so they could handle moving the hydro panel & stack as we are doing major renovations. Instead of speaking to my husband, they called the electrical safety board & tried to shut down our job. If they had they spoken to my husband, they would have known that we had everything in line with the city to move forward with the job. My husband called them after he heard about their issues & left a message stating that we had everything in line & were completely legit but never heard back. Brant power was fully aware of our renovations & were a huge help. We ended up calling Another electrician & they were here the next day, had the work done no problem at all & we have moved forward with our renos. Probably a good company to use if you have a cushy new build project, otherwise don't waste your time.

To repair 3 overhead electrical fans with lites that McKenzie electric installed a number of years ago. Lights not working in kitchen. Fan not working in master bedroom. Fan in another room is not working at high speed.Electrians were very pleasant. Only true fix was the master bedroom. Others in sane condition as before repsirs. After 3 weeks, fan in master bedroom ceased to work.I have placed several calls to speak with Rob.Have not heard from him in 2 months+.All I want is to negotiate the amount of the invoice. I believe Rob's business needs to succeed. As all local business's should. I'm not out to stiff him but, to be ignored for 2 months + leaves a lot to be desired in the "Customer Service" aspect of his business.Rob, I'm still waiting. Please call.Further to the owners response. At no time did anyone from McKenzie suggest I buy a new fan. I have 2 new ones in my possesion. I provided the part to repair master bedroom fan.Amazingly I have left several messages with reception. I even went in person and requested a call back. No call no record of a call, absolutely no response. With voicemail available these days, a message could be left.Now I'm finding this company not only sadly missing the mark on customer service. Now they are telling the public what they suggested. This is a falsehood. I could hv had them install both fans if that's what they feel they recommended.I wish there was a way to communicate with the organization other than trough the public forum.They did not provide me an email address. They have not called back. They did not suggest putting in a new fan/s. They sent an invoice out with a one repair lasting 3 weeks. The other 2 are in the same condition as when they came.If this is the method you wish to communicate, fine be by me. My reputation is not at issue here. Please call when you have a chance or visit any time.Patiently waiting!
